My favorite holiday is Christmas. Some of the traditions we have are making scatter mix which is peanuts, cheerios, pretzels, and chex cereal [all toasted]. And muddy buddies which are made of chocolate, peanut butter, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla. We go to my uncle Pat and aunt Cathy's house. And we put Christmas decorations up too.

My favorite holiday tradition is going to my uncle and aunt's house in Gig Harbor for Christmas Eve dinner. While we are there we see our family and sing Christmas carols. All the boys and men sing "Blue Water Line", and my cousin Morgan gets everyone up on their feet to do the Cha Cha Slide. Last but not least, everyone has chance to show a talent. This year I'm going to play the recorder for everyone.

I celebrate Christmas and New Years. Every year my family chops down a Christmas tree. On Christmas Eve, my family goes to church. After church, I get to open a present. It is always Christmas pajamas. On Christmas morning, we eat cinnamon rolls for breakfast and open all our presents. On New Years eve my family goes to our friend's house and we have a party. Then I sleep over at her house.

My favorite holiday to celebrate is New Years Eve because it’s my birthday. I celebrate with my family and do a special friends party a couple of weeks later. We usually do things I like to do on that day. I like to go bowling at Lucky Strike usually. There are lots of games and my friend David works there and he gives us free game cards. Sometimes we get to celebrate with my cousins or grandparents if they can come to visit. I get to open presents and have birthday cake. New Year’s Eve is the best holiday!

My favorite holiday is Christmas. We go to church on Christmas Eve with the Redding's or our cousins if we go to California.

Christmas morning we open presents and also check to see if Santa ate his cookies. We usually eat turkey or ham on Christmas day.

My family celebrates Christmas and New Years. For Christmas our grandparents and my aunt and uncle come. On Christmas Eve we all open one present and all of our family friends come over for a big feast. For New Years we have a big party on New Years eve and when it turns midnight we all go outside and play any instrument or sing really loudly. It is also one of my friends birthday so we always give her a present.

During winter break my family goes to Hawaii to celebrate Christmas and New Years. We go to the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel which is on the beach and play with our friends, Brooke and Ian* who also stay at the Sheraton Hotel over break. On Christmas day and New Years Eve, we eat at a fancy restaurant called Hy's. They have the best cheese bread in the world. We don't always make it for Christmas but always make it for New Years. This will be the first year that we don't make it for New Years.
Merry Christmas!

We celebrate Christmas on the 24th because my mom is French and that's how they do it there. We have a nice dinner at home, but we do not open our presents until the 25th. My grandparents, my father's parents, come over for breakfast, and my dad make some home made bread. Then we open presents. We take turns wearing the Santa hat and distributing presents to open. Then, in the afternoon, we go to my grandparents for Christmas dinner. Another tradition is that I go shopping for a day with my grandparents before Christmas.
My mom and I will go to the movies, Pacific Science Center, IMAX, the theatre, Chuck-E-Cheese during the break. Lots of fun! Happy Holidays to you all! =)
