We have first grade buddies this year with Mrs. Nelson's class. Each month we will do something fun with them. For September, we helped our buddies make apple mobiles.
New Student Council Reps
After 9 students gave speeches to become our 2010-2011, our students had a hard time voting to narrow it down to just two reps. But here they are:
Our main student council rep will be Andi W. and our alternate is Dillon T!

Reminder- Curriculum Night Tomorrow
Monday, September 13 at 6:30
Please meet in the Multi-purpose room at 6:30, then you will be dismissed to the classroom around 6:55. It is important that at least one parent come to this. Please make every effort to make it to Curriculum Night. You will want to bring your calendar, and a check for planners. See you then!
Book Fair this Week
The Book Fair is going to be a little different this year. Monday is a PREVIEW day only! Please do not send your child in with money. We will be doing a walk through and students can get an idea for the book(s) they might like to bring money for on Wednesday.
Students in our class will not be allowed to shop during their recesses this year. We have a designated shopping time on Wednesday morning. So if your child is going to shop for books, they may bring money on Wednesday!

Field Trip to Northwest Trek
Just to confirm, the field trip is TUESDAY, September 28th (not Wednesday).
