We had so much fun at our BBQ at the park. Almost every family was able to make it! Parents thanks for bringing the food, the gear, and the kiddos. What a special memory!

Hot Cocoa and Scavenger Hunt
The AwesomeNess Athletes have earned 294 gold coins so far this year- not bad considering we are only half way through the year! At 275, they voted to do a school scavenger hunt and have hot coca afterwards. Here are the pictures from our hot cocoa celebration!
Class Store, Art Time, and Our Read In
In December, the last day before break, we had class store, some art time, and our gold coin reward- Read In! It was a fun, busy day. Here are a few pictures from the events.

Chess
We learned how to play chess today in class. The students won that as one of their gold coin rewards! This was the first class I've had where so many students already knew how to play. We learned the rules and had the chance to play a couple of games. If you have a chessboard at home, ask your kids to play with you. If you don't know how to play, hopefully they can at least teach you the basics now!
