Earth Day was April 22nd, and I thought this video was very interesting to think about. Watch the video, and then write about your thoughts and feeling about it. Why do you think I posted this video for Earth Day?

I think the video was trying to say that people don't mean too hurt animals but they do. It is not fair that they put a big thing that spills oil on a bunch of things.
Would you like it if some one put a big oil every where.
I don't think any one would like that.
People hurt animals in different ways and it needs to come to a stop!
I think she posted this for earth day because it tells us about what is going on around the wrold. Also I think the video is saying we use to much of the earth's resources because it said she woke up surounded by oil.
I think Mrs. Ness posted this video because she wants to tell us that we should never litter or spill oil. Maybe another unexpected animal will come by. If there is oil or litter near them, they might drink spilled oil or eat the litter. If they eat litter or drink oil, they could get really sick and they could die. If animals keep dying from our litter, it will ruin the whole ecosystem.
PS. A few years ago, I saw somone litter on earth day.
I think this video is about how people are invading animals habitats. People just keep invading animals habitats to build new buildings. We need to respect animals and not just do what's right for us. People have know idea how different the world would be without animals. Imagine the world without animals. That's what I think earth day is about.
I think the video was posted because Mrs.Ness wanted to tell us about animals. In the video I saw the mother polar bear poking around the machines, the machines could've sprung a leak and the mother drank it she could die and then who would take care of the cub? I would'nt like oil around the Arctic ocean it's a danger to anybody if the oil spilled Ithink that people should'nt put things like that around the wilderness.
I think Mrs Ness posted this video because she wanted us to think about how oil pollution could hurt animals.
P.S. I also think Caden is right.
I think this video is kind of sad because if that oil machine leaked it could reach the mother bear and her baby very quickly and they could die. I think Mrs. Ness posted this video to remind us what pollution can do if animals come along.
I think the vidio was trying to say oil can harm animals. Plus I think this vidio is telling us that we need to protect our enviorment. Also I think Mrs.Ness was trying to tell us we (people) put things in the enviorment that kill our plant and our animals. Fianally I think this vidio is telling us we can save the world by caring for nature. thats what i think this vidio is about.
I think Mrs.Ness posted this video to show us not to litter or spill oil because doing that can harm the environment and plenty animals.
P.S. I agree with Madison =D
I think Mrs. Ness posted this video to teach us that we shouldn't build machines and factories in animal habitat because it is harmful for animals.Littering and spilling of oil is harmful to animals because if they drink the oil
they can die.The mama polar bear was in shock to see all these strange things because she never saw the oil machines before. Also, the baby bear was scared and was hiding under her mom.The Earth we live in has humans as well as animals. So we as a human should respect and take care of animals.
I think that Mrs.Ness posted that video because: She wanted us to know that live sounds fair to us, but not to animals. We should be kinder to animals. We can help by adopting them from shelters, not littering, and not using gas and oil all the time.
Let me tell you why I thought Mrs.Ness posted this video for Earth Day.I think she posted this video to tell others to be careful not to spill oil because if you do animals would die if the animal drank the oil. Also we need to protect nature and animals when there are disasters.
We did something wrong. We put a oil factory where polar bears live and it was not fair to the polar bears. All they wanted was a cold deserted land all to themselves. We did not know that polar bears were there. Before you build something you should see if there are any animals around before building something near their homes. Animals are just as important as humans, so look before you destroy their beautiful habit that they were born in. Take care of animals as you take care of your children.
I agree with everybody that we should be nicer to animals. But even if there was no polar bears there, we should have been nicer to mother earth. It is called EARTH DAY right? I thought that it was plain sad that they did that to the polar bears. They ruined thier habitat and ecosystem! I think Mrs. Ness had us watch that vidio because it tells us how people ae really treating mother earth and it's animals.
Doing that to someone's habitat is like lighting 50 sticks of dynamite in someone's backyard.
"What's wrong with you, why did you just wreck my home??!"
"Sorry kid, we're building the here to make money and we don't care what this does to your home."
I have a forest in my backyard and nature is priceless so we shouldn't harm it, light 50 sticks of dynamite in it, or build like crazy on it. At least my backyard has a sign that says "Property of Lakemont. Do not disturb." They need one of those signs in the Arctic.
I think Mrs. Ness posted the video because she wants us to know that we can hurt animals in ways we don't even notice.
I think the video was about the accidental mishaps of destroying wildlife. The scientists wanted to protect the polar bears by tracking the family down. Mrs. Ness probably posted this video to raise awareness of the loss of homes that are being destroyed every day.
I think Mrs.Ness posted this video so we would learn our lesson to never litter or spill oil on the ground. Littering or spilling oil on the ground will cause animals to get sick or die because when it rains the litter and oil washes into the sea and harms the animals. What if someone did that to you? I bet you wouldn't like it because I definetly wouldn't. So let's stop littering and save our world.
I didn't get the video on my screen. So I couldn't do the blog post
I think this video shows that animals habitats are being destroyed every day.The mother was probally thinking, "How the heck did this peaceful little island for me and my cub turn into some oil site?". I think that they didn't mean any harm to the polar bears because they didn't know she was there. I hope they evacuate the island quickly, so the mother and her cub can be at peace. That's what I think about the video.
I think Mrs. Ness posted this video on Earth Day to show us that in just a little time, the time that a bear is in hibernation, mankind can do a lot of damage to our planet. We built that factory in a couple of months and that will change the bears' lives forever. The bears have done nothing to harm us, and we are taking over their habitat to build things for ourselves. We all live on the same planet, so we need to share it, be equal to all living things, respect and help each other. We will not be able to survive if we don't have Earth to live on. We must take care of it together.
I think that Mrs. Ness posted this vidio to show us that we are polluting and destroying animal habitats every day. Thank you Mrs. Ness for letting us learn this important lesson

I think you posted it because the poler bears got stuck in a oil plant. And because oil is not good for the stuff living on the earth. And its earthday. The bears left. They probably knew it was not safe.
Mrs. Ness, the video won't play on my computer.
